Pynqi’s Story

WynLife Church celebrates Generosity because we acknowledge that God poured out His blessings upon us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We have a heart for the hungry. Our church runs FoodBank Manor Lakes and Blessing Tents serving more than 150 families in the city of Wyndham. Providing food is critical but many of these people really don’t get a lot of respect. That’s something important we offer and help bring some dignity back.

Our congregation started accompanying neighbours when WynLife opened a food pantry with nonperishables donated by members and partners. Volunteers helped set up for efficient distribution when recipients stopped by for a bag of groceries on Wednesdays. Church members and volunteers enjoyed chatting with the food clients, and over time became acquainted by name with most of them. We have gospel tracts and offer a prayer to those in need. Learning about hunger and poverty can be an eye-opener and life-changing experience for all volunteers. Accompanying volunteers through this transformation can help them as their perspective changes and deepen their faith. This slowly led to the creation of a new community of Christ-followers.

Feeding can also be an important way to share the faith that grounds anti-hunger work. We can reach out and feed the hungry. In this way, we live the love of Christ. It’s creating an impact and connection with our community. Most of all, we can present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and see the people come to faith. It is a privilege for us to represent Jesus and advance His Kingdom. To God be the glory!

People with disabilities can often be on the outskirts of society, ignored and overlooked. We believe that the church has a mission to reach every person and it should be a place for all. We want to help churches to better connect to the people with disabilities in their local community. In partnerhip with Hands & Feet your church can run a disability day program for people with disabilities in your community.

We provide your church with the systems, training, pay for the team involved, and experience to start and run your own disability day program, all while giving it your own personal touch.

For Registered Nurses

1 in 5 older Australians are socially isolated

The elderly in our community can often be forgotten, but we know how much value they have. We believe that it is the churches responsibility to consider and care for the elderly in our communities. Hands & Feet have recently been approved to provide Aged Home Care Services, we want to partner with churches and provide a care for the elderly in a way that shows Christ’s love.

To run our Aged Home Care services across Australia we need both Churches and Registered Nurses to work with us. If you know a registered nurse who would like to get involved in helping the elderly through a local church, get them to get into contact with us. And if you are involved in a church that has a heart for the elderly, we need to speak to you.
