Hands and Feet is a non-profit community service to people in need. And there are many of them, both young and old. We provide food and clothing to the homeless and to those struggling to feed their families every week.Our aim is to provide help in the short term to allow people an opportunity to get back on their feet and rebuild their lives.
Life isn’t about living for ourselves, trying to satisfy our desires. It’s about how we relate to and care for one another. Jesus modeled this in his life and he calls us to follow him in how we treat others. We are asked to help those around us.
Hands and Feet does just this. Our name reflects this heart attitude that allows God to work through us. We become his Hands and Feet in providing for people who need a helping hand in very stressful times of need.

Can you help us even on a short term basis?
In Sydney, Hands and Feet operates out of a warehouse in Kings Park in the Northwest.
We collect food, including vegetables, fruit, bread, groceries, bottled water and milk, and other essential goods that are donated to Hands and Feet by local stores, food outlets, supermarkets and passionate supporting organisations and individuals.
We also purchase essential foods and goods to ensure we provide a balanced and nutritious food pack to those in need.
We have a group of volunteers and permanent staff who co-ordinate, negotiate and manage the work each week. The food is sorted, prepared and packed ready for distribution to the homeless in our city and to the needy in our suburbs.

Each Friday night a team of volunteers travels into the Sydney CBD and surrounding suburbs to deliver food packages and clothing for those living on the street. They provide help to those in desperate need and build relationships with them so that we can encourage them to rebuild their lives. To keep this work going we need donations of food, drinks and blankets that we can distribute every week.
If you have a business that has edible food to get rid of each day or each week, instead of throwing it out, please call us on 02 8814 9061. Our team is available 24/7 to pick it up, sort it, pack it and distribute it to people who need it most.

Hunger In Our Suburbs
There are a growing number of families who do not have enough money to buy food for their families on a weekly basis. Like single mums who can only afford one decent meal a week. Children are at risk of being undernourished and their future may not be very bright. Hands and Feet provide food hampers to families through local churches who make it available to their community at no cost! It’s just part of our mission to help stamp out hunger in our suburbs.

This is a tried and true way for churches to reach out to their local community and help those in need.. Hands and Feet will pack and deliver food hampers to your church each week. All your church needs are some volunteers for a few hours one afternoon or evening to meet and share the food with those who are going without in your neighbourhood.

Hands & Feet want to ensure the safety of any child or young person that we interact with through our work and instill a philosophy of child safety throughout the culture of the organisation. Hands & Feet have a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse and neglect in any form. We want children and young people (Under 18 year olds) who access our services and participate in our programs either directly through Hands & Feet or through one of our contractors to have a safe and enjoyable experience.Â
